The Paramashiva Pancharatna Stuti is a hymn composed in praise of Lord Shiva, often attributed to the great saint and philosopher Adi Shankaracharya. தாம் ஸம்யதாரயததர்வஷிகா ஹி யஸ்ய
தம் ஸர்வகாரணமனாதிஷிவம் ப்ரபத்யே || ௨||
வேதான்தேஷு ப்ரதமபவனம் வர்ணிதம் யஸ்ய யாப்யாம்
தத்வத்தஸ்ய ப்ரஸவவசஸா ஜன்ம தத்க்யாபயித்வா |
யஸ்யைகஸ்ய ஸ்புடமஜனிதா நிஷ்சிதா காரணஸ்ய
த்யாயாமஸ்தம் ஜனிவிஹதயே ஷம்புமாகாஷமத்யே || ௩||
யத்ப்ரூபங்கைகவஷ்யா விதிஹரிகிரிஷக்யாதிதா: ஷக்திகோட்யோ
யத்ப்ருத்யா தேவதேவா: ஸகலபுவனகா: ஸம்னியச்சன்தி விஷ்வம் |
யல்லிங்கம் ஸர்வதேவாஸுரமனுஜமுகைரர்ச்யதே விஷ்வரூபம்
தஸ்மை நித்யம் நமஸ்யாம் ப்ரவிதனுத பரப்ரஹ்மணே ஷம்கராய || ௪||
ஆஸ்யம் ஸூஷமம் லிங்கரூபத்வலிங்கம்
ஸ்யாத்ப்ரஹ்மேஷானாக்யயைவால்பமாத்ரம் |
இத்யேவேனாவேதயத்ஸூத்ரகாரோ
யம் ப்ரஹ்மாக்யம் தம் ப்ரபத்யே மஹேஷம் || ௫||

Prabhum prananatham vibhum vishvanatham
Jagannathanatham sadanandabhajam |
Bhavadbhavyabhuteshwaram bhutanatham
Shivam shankaram shambhumishanamide ||
I bow to that Shiva, the Supreme Lord, the master of all life, the ruler of the universe, the protector of the world, who is the embodiment of eternal bliss. He is the Lord of the past, present, and future, the ruler of all beings, and the destroyer of all evil.

I worship Lord Shiva, the Lord of all worlds, who wears a garland of skulls around his neck, whose body is adorned with snakes, who has the blue throat from holding the poison, and who is the destroyer of great delusion. He is Shiva, the auspicious one, and Shankara, the giver of blessings.

Sudhamanitiram shivam shankaram shambhum
Bhaje jyotirupam shivam shankaram ||
I worship Lord Shiva, the embodiment of light, who is like the honey from the nectar-filled flowers, whose sweet essence pervades the forest of life. He is the ultimate nectar, the supreme essence, and the light that dispels all darkness. He is Shiva, the auspicious one, and Shankara, the benefactor of all.
Kvamisham jagadvyapakam nirmalam tam
Svadha svaha sarvamayatmanameedyam |
Vratam netradantam samastamsuradyam
Shivam shankaram shambhumishanamide ||
I bow to Lord Shiva, the master of the universe, who pervades everything, who is pure and flawless. He is the essence of all sacrifices, the self of all beings, and the one to be worshipped by all. He is beyond all forms, with three eyes and the controller of all gods. He is the auspicious Shiva and Shankara.
Ajam shashvatam karanam karananyam
Shivam kleshanasham sukam sarvashunyam |
Vratam mantravedyam jagatamadharam
Bhaje shankaram sarvakamashrayam tam ||
I worship that Lord Shankara, who is unborn, eternal, and the cause of all causes, who is the destroyer of all suffering, the embodiment of bliss, and the ultimate void. He is the support of all worlds, known through mantras, and the refuge for fulfilling all desires. He is the auspicious one, the supreme shelter.
